I thought all day about this weeks challenge. What hue is me? It could be blue”berry”, lavender, strawberry red or green “tea”; but looking at what’s left at the Compartes’ Jonathan’s Signature Truffle box, it was in front of me the whole time. Chocolate!
Soho…So many things to do, so little time.
Start with coffee, a pastry and a sandwich, later for lunch, at Birdbath Bakery aka Vesuvio Bakery aka City Bakery. Then go to the nearest Citibike station for a 24 hour pass ($9.95). Before checking out from the Mondrian Soho, make sure to get one of last frozen smores at Dominique Ansel, yes again, for this one though so yummy, and to me better than the cronut on a hot day, it could be sticky as well. Or maybe ask for an extended stay rate, in case you decide to hit one of the underground clubs nearby.
Packaging can make or break almost anything. Be it a product, a store, a city, a surprise, even a weekend getaway. This weekend is about Soho, where everything seems to be packaged well. This mornings surprise, the cronut ($5) from Dominique Ansel Bakery and Pistachio and Choolate Yoghurt ($4) from Chobani Soho. A great start to a funfilled weekend!
